So we had lost to the Mighty Hull City at our home ground. Its only the sixth game and we already registered our second defeat. No disrespect to Hull City, but if we couldn’t even beat or draw Hull City at Emirates Stadium, we are simply not good enough of challenging the titles.

There was no urgency or hunger in our play. I felt that the players took it too lightly and perhaps expected a stroll in the park.

This team is too inexperience to be consistent. I feel that this inconsistencies will continue throughout the season, and maybe the next season since Wenger isn’t gonna do anything about it. Our players may have the talent and league/international experience at their young ages, but they still lack the maturity and composure required to achieve consistency.

So, our kids thrashed Shef United 6-0 in carling cup round 3. I just watched the highlights and I must say I am really impressed with the fluidity of their moves. Carlos Vela is brilliant, can’t wait to see him in EPL action.

Well, we are right now top of the league, with our arch rival at the other end. 🙂

The following squad is named for the coming carling cup match against Shef United.

21. Lukasz FABIANSKI (GK) (Age 23)
24. Vito MANNONE (GK) (Age 20)
26. Nicklas BENDTNER (Age 20)
35. Francis COQUELIN (Age 17)
38. Jay EMMANUEL-THOMAS (Age 17)
40. Kieran GIBBS (Age 18)
41. Gavin HOYTE (Age 18)

46. Abu OGOGO (Age 18)
47. Mark RANDALL (Age 18)
50. Jay SIMPSON (Age 19)
56. Emmanuel FRIMPONG (Age 16)

The oldest player is 21 years old, if you exclude the goalkeeper. Arsene Wenger is bolder than what I expected. Players to watch would probably be Vela, Ramsey and Wilshere. Not sure if Lansbury and Merida will play.

Too bad the local TV isn’t gonna show this match. The only carling cup match available is Man United vs Boro.

As usual, I guessed our lineup would be mainly consist of fringe and reserve team players. Probable lineup may be like this:

Fabianski

G.Hoyte—Djourou—Gallas—Gibbs

Wilshere—Ramsey—Song—Walcott

Bendtner—Vela

That’s a relatively young team, which is why I think Gallas would be playing to provide some experience and stability at the back.

Prediction: Arsenal 4 – 1 Shef United
